TFS Deployer not triggering Powershell Script

May 3, 2010 at 4:13 PM

I am trying to deploy the application automatically after the successful build.

 Below is my documentmappings.xml file.

<DeploymentMappings xmlns="http://www.readify.net/TFSDeployer/DeploymentMappings20061026">

<Mapping xmlns=""

           Computer="ALLEN"

           OriginalQuality="Ready for Initial Test"

           NewQuality="Initial Test Passed"

           Script="webdestination.ps1"

           RunnerType="PowerShell"/>

</DeploymentMappings>

Below is my webdestination.ps1 (Powershell script)

$droplocation = $TfsDeployerBuildData.DropLocation

$webdestinationpath = "C:\deployment\"

new-item —force -path $webdestinationpath -itemtype "directory"

get-childitem $webdestinationpath | remove-item -force -recurse $websourcepath = $droplocation + "\Release\PublishedWebsites\AllenWeb\"

get—childitem $websourcepath | copy—item —force —recurse —destination $webdestinationpath.

I am not getting any error, but no files are copied to the deployment directory when i do a deployment.

Note: I didnt give any smtp server or mail related details in my code.
