TFS Deployer not reacting to build quality change

Aug 31, 2012 at 8:08 AM

Whenever I change the build quality, the tfsdeployer service is invoked hence I can find the enteries in the event viewer.
But it also shows a warning "Configuration did not contain any Mappings."
First assumption was that the tfsdeployer service might not have enough privileges to tfs, but on looking at other enteries in eventviewer the build quality changes were mentioned so access issue may not be.
Default location of "DeploymentMappings/xml" is $/Project/BuildProcessTemplates/Deployment/DeploymentMappings.xml

Changed the location where the "DeploymentMappings/xml" is located in tfs; doesnt work either.
Can someone help on this.

Question, Does your DeploymentMapping.xml contain anything?

That warning message suggests that DeploymentConfig.xml is found but no Mapping nodes were found in the xml

First thx for reply...

Actually it was a minor mistake from my end. Instead of <Mapping I had typed <mapping

It doesnt recognise the tag with lower case. Once I had corrected it works fine.
